Service Overview
Element PFP were instructed to provide a full comprehensive Passive Fire Protection Survey & Fire Door Survey to identify any compartmentation defects within their premise, along with full remediation in line with IFC’S Third Party accredited standards – The project has been conducted in accordance with the universities term times in order to suit their shut down periods to ensure the most efficient and least disruptive method to rectifying the defects of the buildings.

Challenges Faced
Conducting fire stopping surveys and remedial works at university student accommodation presents a unique set of challenges. They are often fully occupied, especially during the academic year, requiring careful scheduling and continued communication between our team and the client, to avoid disrupting students. Our team also ensured we conducted surveys and remedial works with minimal disruption to students’ daily lives and university operations with meticulous planning and ensuring the works were completed within the allocated time.
